KES2009

13th International Conference on Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Information & Engineering Systems

28, 29 and 30 September 2009 Santiago, Chile

We are pleased to invite participation in KES2009 organized by the University of Chile, its Faculty of Science Physics and Mathematics and Department of Industrial Engineering in conjunction with KES International.

The conference will take place in Santiago, the capital of the Republic of Chile. Santiago is located in the country's central valley, at an elevation of 520 m (1,700 ft). It was founded 1541 with the name Santiago de Nueva Extremadura. Today Santiago has been transformed into one of Latin America's most modern metropolitan areas.

The conference will consist of keynote talks, oral and poster presentations, invited sessions and workshops, on the applications and theory of intelligent systems and related areas. It will provide excellent opportunities for the presentation of interesting new research results and discussion about them, leading to knowledge transfer and generation of new ideas.
